As an annual grand event of the global pharmaceutical and health industry, the 24th CPHI China 2026, co-hosted by Informa Markets and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products, and organized by Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd., came to a successful close at Shanghai New International Expo Centre from June 16 to 18. The exhibition gathered elites from all over the world, displaying full-industry-chain achievements including natural products, active pharmaceutical ingredients and biotechnology. The Medicinal and Edible Homologous Raw Materials Zone bridges traditional Chinese medicine culture and modern health demands, displaying classic raw materials and featured extracts such as ginseng, ganoderma lucidum, donkey-hide gelatin, polygonatum, wolfberry and astragalus. Adhering to the concept of medicinal-edible homology and natural health preservation, it integrates traditional tonic products with modern extraction technologies to develop innovative products including high-purity extracts, instant powder and fermented extracts, which balance nutritional activity and easy application, and provide abundant raw material options for functional foods and dietary supplements.
The Chinese Medicinal Herbs & Prepared Slices Zone focuses on export-grade quality and international compliance, presenting Chinese medicinal herbs, processed herbal slices and medicinal plants that meet European and American pharmacopoeia standards with full traceability management and overseas-oriented quality. It boosts the modernization and globalization of traditional Chinese medicine, promotes the standardization, refinement and internationalization of herbal resources, and guarantees high-quality raw material supply for the natural product industry.

The main summit, the 14th Global Pharmaceutical & Natural Health Industry Development Summit, analyzed industry prospects from the perspectives of market pattern, policy orientation and technological innovation.
